On Monday, August 13, Crockett Facilities Services, Inc. participated in the World’s Largest Golf Outing (WLGO), joining 99 other simultaneous golf outings across 27 states (a Guinness World Record). We entered four teams into the event, which was put together to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, and raised $13,652, far surpassing our original goal of $2,000 ($500 per team)!
WLGO is about having a great day of golf with friends and co-workers, while benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project!
The WWP is a national, nonpartisan organization that was founded with the sole purpose of honoring and empowering wounded warriors. The WWP accomplishes this in several ways, including:
- Help to raise awareness and to enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured servicemen and women.
- Helping injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other.
- Providing unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured servicemen and women.
Everyone here at Crockett Facilities would like to thank you all for your generous donations, which have gone to help thousands of Wounded Warriors – and their families – as these brave men and women return home.
