Toy Drive in Honor of Parker Shoemaker
Parker is the great-nephew of our controller Kim Shoemaker. He has Krabbe Disease, which is a rare, inherited degenerative disorder of the central and peripheral nervous systems. The disease most often affects infants. There is no cure for Krabbe Disease and it is generally fatal before age 2.
Parker has been treated by Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC.
Crockett Facilities Services, Inc. is sponsoring a toy-drive to send approved toys to both hospitals in Parker’s name.
Help us donate toys to help sick children in the hospital – to share in the playrooms and for children too sick to leave their beds.
If you would like to help – please have the toys to our office – 4901 Tesla Drive; Suite J; Bowie, MD 20715 – by September 28th. (Click on Attachment for list of approved toys.)
Thank you for your support!
